Chef + House Manager ( 2 positions) | Ex-Yacht Crew Welcome | Live-In or Live-Out – Couple or Individuals  

We’re recruiting on behalf of a UHNW client seeking an experienced Chef and House Manager. Our client is seeking either a highly polished couple or 2 individuals – ideally ex-yacht crew, for their beautiful private estate in Connecticut. The property is around a 45min drive from New York. This is a land-based role, perfect for a Chef/Chief Stew or Chef/Stew team ready to transition ashore into a long-term lifestyle position. The location is beautiful, and you will be part of a vibrant community.

It is essential you have an American passport or Green Card to be eligible for this role. There is no flexibility with this. The roles will start in September. Initial interviews will by via video and then face to face.

The principal will be in residence for approximately 3-4 months a year split into 2 or 3 visits. During these months the role will be busy working. The remaining 8 or 9 months the roles will be very flexible in terms of working hours and days.

POSITION 1: PRIVATE CHEF TO PRINCIPAL

We are looking for a Chef who can turn their hand to a variety of cuisines from European to sushi and everything in between. The emphasis is on fresh, high-quality ingredients cooked well. It doesn’t require Michelin levels of presentation.

Duties include:

• Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The principal eats out so will be out for lunch or dinner on occasion.
• Occasionally cooking for small-scale entertaining (usually 6–8 guests)
• Cooking lunch for the estate staff (5 in total)

POSITION 2: HOUSE MANAGER / CONCIERGE

This is a hybrid land-based role blending a few responsibilities. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the interior, manage suppliers and act as the principal’s go-to for all things home and lifestyle.

Duties include:                                                                                                                                        

• Managing the interior of a beautifully finished house
• Providing concierge-style support to the Principal
• Assisting with basic tech (Netflix, emails, device syncing)
• Service at meal times, making a good cocktail
• Ensuring the guest cottage is always guest-ready
• Occasionally drive the boss locally

• Have experience in senior yacht interior roles or private homes
• Are confident managing luxury interiors and service operations
• Are tech-savvy and intuitive
• Are hands-on and happy to "muck in" when needed
• Have a positive, upbeat personality

Assistant Villa Manager – South Pacific

An exclusive private estate in the South Pacific is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Villa Manager to support the smooth daily operations of a world-class luxury property. Working closely with the Manager, you will help ensure an exceptional owner & guest experience while managing staff, logistics, and service delivery in a remote, breathtaking island setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily villa operations, including housekeeping, F&B, guest services, and maintenance coordination

• Act as a key point of contact for VIP guests, ensuring service excellence and attention to detail

• Supervise, train, and motivate multi-disciplinary staff to uphold the highest standards

• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure seamless logistical support

• Monitor inventory and supplies, managing procurement and stock levels efficiently

• Handle scheduling, staff rotations, and assist with administrative reporting

• Uphold safety, hygiene, and sustainability protocols across the property

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 3 years in a similar role within luxury hospitality or private estate environments

• Proven ability to manage teams and multitask under pressure in a dynamic setting

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong sense of discretion and professionalism

• Fluent in both French and English

• Experience working in a remote, French-speaking island or comparable environment is highly desirable

House Manager – Private Household (Live-Out, London)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 DOE

Are you a seasoned Senior Steward(ess) or similar with a background in ultra-high-end superyacht/luxury boutique hotel service, ready to transition to an exceptional private household role?

We are seeking a meticulous, service-minded and highly discreet House Manager for a beautifully maintained private residence in central London. This live-out position is ideally suited to someone who already resides in London and is ready to bring their 6-star standards to land.

The Role:

• Sole charge of an elegant property used by the Principal for approximately 1 week per month
• The residence must be maintained to perfection at all times, with no fixed schedule for visits
• Be on-site to offer a warm and seamless welcome on arrival — day or night
• Provide light concierge-style services including:
  • Grocery shopping and fridge stocking
  • Errands and snack/light meal preparation
  • Ensuring the house is always guest-ready
• Occasional interaction with the Principal’s personal staff/chef, who may accompany him

About You:

• A background as a Senior Stew or Chief Stew on luxury superyachts or similar within a luxury boutique hotel OR holding a similar role within the Private Home of an UHNWI (essential)
• Trained eye for detail and a passion for presentation – from steaming bedsheets to ensuring a harmonious and immaculate home
• Self-sufficient, proactive, and unfazed by high standards or last-minute schedule changes
• Discreet, trustworthy, and polished, with a naturally service-driven mindset
• Must already be London-based with full right to work in the UK
